
Hoss' album also boasts the world champion fiddle playing of Ireland's own David Duffy. His success on Broadway caught the attention of some of the top studio musicians, demo singers, and writers in Nashville, including Chip Davis. Within two years, Hoss became the premiere weekend headline act on the bottom main level of the largest and most popular bar on Broadway in Nashville, "Honky Tonk Central", where Hoss consistently attracts 'standing room only' crowds every weekend! Hoss quickly became one of the hottest acts on Broadway with weekly shows at "Tootsie's" and "Rippy's" in Nashville. Hoss stole the show and was an instant 'hit'! The owner was so impressed with Hoss' performances that he convinced him to move to Nashville and be part of his weekly entertainment group on Broadway. Shane Collins (Panama City Beach's #1 Morning Show Host at 92.5 WPAP - "Panama City's Country"), who is also from Tuscaloosa was so impressed with his performance that he helped Hoss get some gigs at the world famous "Tootsie's" country music bar in Panama City Beach. Hoss started his first band when he was only "18".ĭr. Throughout his teenage years, he sang at many area events, weddings, etc. Hoss is originally from Tuscaloosa, Alabama and started singing and playing the guitar in church when he was 12 years old.
